Contest Results
For the past few weeks I have been holding a contest; the first person to figure out who Arthur and Mabel are (the people I dedicated The Shadow Road to) were would win a free autographed copy of the new book.
The results...
There was no correct answer! I received a few entries but nobody was able to figure out who they were.
The answer...
Arthur and Mabel are the parents of author (and some would say father of modern fantasy, who without his inspiration and contribution to the literary world I would never had written these stories) J.R.R. Tolkien. Without Arthur and Mabel the literary world would be a far less impressive place.
To Arthur, Mabel, and their son I thank you.
