Answers to 'The Keeper's Gate' raffle/contest

Since some people may be confused about certain parts of the Dark Heritage Saga, and no glossary is currently in existence, I'll post the answers to the TKG raffle/contest. That might give some insight into the story; please remember that some of the answers are spoilers.

THE KEEPER'S GATE now available!!!

The fourth book in the Dark Heritage Saga is now available! You can purchase it immediately from this website or wait a few days for Amazon.com to add it to their catalog. Or several weeks (up to two months) for it to be available in all other online book retailer stores.

The winner of an autographed copy of the book is Amanda Dondelinger.

Coming soon: THE KEEPER'S GATE; book IV of the Dark Herittage Saga

That's right, TKG will be available very soon (as soon as it's sent to the printer). The adventure continues for all the characters (Amras, Isla, Page, Alliana, Zara, Taniyan, Lauliss, Dineth, Alpheth, Tuor, Enlokirim, Fingon, Akaiden, Jade, etc) while Isla begins dealing with the effects of pregnancy on her choice in life. You can get familiar with the first three Dark Heritage Saga books) and I'll definitely announce TKG's publication when it happens.
And congratulations to the winner of The Keeper's Gate raffle/contest. The winner was chosen at random using a very scientific method (OK, I'm kidding about that; but the winner WAS chosen at random in a process of elimination.)

Avilable for purchase!

'The Cold Tower' and 'The Shadow Road' are back!!! You can buy them from this website, though it will take some time before they are available through Amazon or any other book retailer. Let this be a reminder than the next book ('The Keeper's Gate') is only a few weeks away.

The ebook versions of these two novels are again available everywhere; if you prefer digital books versus books that can occupy shelf-space.

Coming Soon: ICARUS ALACRITATEM

ICARUS will be my first foray into the world of science-fiction; I had originally intended to write a full novel named 'ICARUS' I decided that keeping it as a short would be better suited. I don't know how many 'ICARUS' stories will be released; ALACRITATEM will be the first. They will all be released in ebook form, depending on length I may also make them available as print books for those that still have shelves in their homes.

The release date is unknown, but I'll bring that news when it comes around.

Temporarily Unavailable

'The Cold Tower' and 'The Shadow Road' novels will be unavailable for purchase for a few days. The books have been redesigned and edited, hopefully the mistakes were caught. The ebook versions of these novels have also been updated and, while available on Smashwords.com, they won't be available from retailers (like Apple, Sony, Barnes & Noble) for a few days.

I'll post an update when the books are again available and when the ebooks are again available from all retailers.

Avilable for purchase!

Great News! 'The Lost Worlds' is available for purchase, in the new format, from this website. It will take up to a week for it to become available through Amazon.com and up to 3 months to be available for purchase in places such as Barnes&Noble.

I am also in the process of updating the ebook versions of the novels, which mainly consists of editing; both 'The Cold Tower' and 'The Lost Worlds' are available. 'The Shadow Road' is still in the process of updating; but that should be complete within the next 48 hours. You can still purchase all of my work in ebook format, though you'll get the older version of 'The Shadow Road'; if you purchased 'The Cold Tower' as an ebook already you can download the updated version at no additional cost (since you already purchased TCT; your ereader should confirm this)

Temporarily Unavailable

'The Lost Worlds' will be temporarily unavailable for purchase. It should be available within 72 hours (Thursday, April 12) and no later that April 15 (Sunday). The book has been reformatted, increasing the page length from 434 pages to 452; any and all needed edits were made. I apologize to anyone that already purchased the book but know that you have the first printing of the book. wassat
The first two books in the saga ('The Cold Tower' and 'The Shadow Road') will likewise be unavailable soon, I'll be sure to post an update when that occurs. The fourth book in the series, 'The Keeper's Gate,' is still scheduled for release in May.

DARK HERITAGE SAGA planned updates

With the passing of time, I learn new things. I've improved my book formatting, which means future work won't look like the earliest books of the Dark Heritage Saga. With that in mind, the first three books of the Saga are going to be updated (including reformatting and much-needed edits).
I'll be making specific announcements when each of these books will be available; though I hope to have 'The Cold Tower' if not also 'The Shadow Road' re-released in conjunction with the upcoming book.
As for the next book in the Saga, 'The Keeper's Gate,' it will be released in this new format. I want TKG to be available by Memorial Day (May 31st), and absolutely no later than my birthday on June 15th.
A contest is going to start very soon (April), someone is going to win a free copy of TKG; complete with autograph. The specifics will be announced when the contest starts; but I'll recommend that requesting my friendship on Facebook will be a plus because it'll be easier to run the contest there.

APEX interview

It's old, and things have changed since the interview; but this is a link to the interview I did with APEX reviews. To be honest, I almost forgot that I did it.

STORYSTAR

There are times that I'm thankful for knowing so many other authors and people in the publishing world; that's how I find out about places like Netbound (who published 'Solitary') and StoryStar.

StoryStar publishes short stories online, for free. They invite you to read and review stories, and even write your own if you feel up to the challenge. But I'm not writing because of you; I'm writing now to tell you about ME. I've put a few short stories (unpublished elsewhere) to read.

Unwanted Room
Creature of the Night

The stories are listed under the 'mystery' theme for the time being; but feel free to browse other stories (and don't forget to rate what you read; better ratings get showcased).

Notification of changes

This information isn't truly important to readers, but I thought to share it with you regardless. The publisher of the Dark Heritage Saga books has made alterations to their distribution network. What this means for me; it'll be more cost-effective to expand book distribution. What this means for you...

NOTHING! The books will still be available where they were previously located (sadly, Borders will no longer be an option). All future books published through Createspace will likewise be available and these locations; and of course all e-books are only available from Smashwords.

Please, enjoy.

January 2012 updates

If you're reading, you've already seen two updates to the website (Banner, look up; Author photo, look right) but I assure you, there's more. First, the Author Bio has been updated and a link to the estore for The Keeper's Gate is on the book's page (the book is not available yet, I'll save that for another post).

I'll remind everyone, the store has a lot of interesting items. Everything from elves and skulls to bio-chem waste and zombies is there; plus much more. I bought a few christmas gifts from the store, and all were accepted with a thrill.

Realistically though, there isn't much else going on. But expect more soon as The Keeper's Gate enters the last part of its journey.
