Amazon Rankings

After seeing one of my fellow facebook friend authors talking about their Amazon.com rankings I decided to check mine out. They're not great, nowhere near the top 100 but not near the bottom either.

I also found it amusing that The Shadow Road is higher than The Cold Tower. The Cold Tower's ranking is #2,396,598 while The Shadow Road is #1,688,220. Come on people, tell your friends about the Dark Heritage Saga and let's get those ratings up.

Third Book Title

I have finally settled on the title for the third book of the Dark Heritage Saga.

'The Land of Ghosts'

Obviously it has a connection to something in the story but I won't elaborate on that anytime soon. More information about the next book will be announced as it becomes available.

The Cold Tower Recieves Four Stars from Apex Reviews!

Long thought to have been eliminated as a threat, the evil sorcerer Enlokirim rises from the grave – and he only has one goal in mind: to obtain the magical Triangles of Power. Individually, the mystical stones are quite formidable, but together they are downright dangerous; so, realizing the grave threat that Enlokirim’s quest presents, a group of intrepid adventurers set out to stop him...but in the face of monstrous creatures and increasingly daunting challenges – will they have what it takes to see their mission through to completion?

With unique, well-crafted appeal, The Cold Tower is a grand, sweeping fantasy epic. In the vaunted tradition of Tolkien and Herbert, author Michael Bertolini combines imaginative characters with compelling plotlines to create an engaging tale with strong spiritual undertones. Coming in at just over 300 pages, Bertolini’s narrative has just the right balance of action and exposition to push the story along at a steady, even pace, successfully refreshing the reader’s interest with the unfolding of each new intriguing plot twist. Furthermore, Bertolini’s vivid descriptions of the mystical land of Scyllia add to the visceral appeal of the tale, engrossing the reader in the lush landscape that serves as the backdrop of the adventurers’ perilous crusade.

The solid debut of a promising new fantasy series, The Cold Tower is a
can’t-miss thriller for fans of quality fantasy fiction.
